Epson has officially expanded its SureColor V-Series UV flatbed printer lineup with the launch of the SureColor V4000. This latest device addresses the increasingly diverse needs of businesses looking for greater flexibility in producing custom products, signage, displays, and photo-quality prints.

The SureColor V4000 supports a print area of up to A1+ size and can print on media up to 20 cm thick. This capability allows users to print directly onto a wide range of materials, from signage and display graphics to rigid items like mobile phone cases and notebook covers.

Ario Aditya, Head of Vertical Business at Epson Indonesia, noted that as demand for custom products with flexible production volumes rises, businesses require relevant solutions.
"As the demand for custom products with flexible production volumes grows, businesses need solutions that can adapt to their scale of operations, available space, and investment requirements," said Ario on Wednesday (October 7, 2026).
Ario added that with the SureColor V4000, Epson is expanding its UV printer portfolio by offering professional flatbed capabilities within a more compact design.
"We aim to help customers manage their daily production needs—from maintaining quality and productivity to optimizing workspace. In doing so, Epson’s solutions not only support current business requirements but also build trust for long-term partnerships," Ario stated.
In terms of quality, the printer utilizes a 10-color UltraChrome UV ink set, including gray, red, white, and varnish. This ink combination delivers a wider color gamut and smoother gradations, while also enabling the printing of text as small as 2-point and fine lines with sharp detail.
The SureColor V4000 offers print speeds of up to 4.6 m² per hour in standard mode and reaches 10.9 m² per hour in High Speed mode. The printer also features automatic media height adjustment, which automatically positions the print head based on the media thickness.
