HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw Driver – Big brother to the HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw colour Printer and in some ways the solitary function variation of the HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw colour MFP ($449, 4 stars)—both which tester recently reviewed—the HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw colour Printer ($349 direct), is designed as both an individual printer and a prospective common printer in a mini workplace. Certainly, it can offer well in either role, although it is valued a bit high for what it offers.

HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw Review
The keyword in explaining the CP1525nw as big brother to the CP1025nw is huge, with a 15.7 by 17.8 inch (WD) impact that will take up a bit more space on a desktop computer than you might such as. Fortunately, it is just 10 inches high, so at the very least, you will not seem like it is towering over you. On the other hand, it is remarkably hefty for the dimension, at 40 extra pounds, which is greater than some individuals might feel comfy lifting and moving by themselves.
Despite the extra dimension, weight (and price), the CP1525nw does not deliver much greater than the CP1025nw. Particularly, its paper handling is almost as limited. Such as its little brother has just a 150 sheet input tray, with no automated duplexing and no options available. It includes a one-sheet manual feed port, so you can print on various paper stock without needing to switch out the paper generally tray, but that is almost the just benefit it offers.
Speed
Establishing the CP1525nw is standard fare. Tester installed it using a wired network link and ran my tests from a Windows View system. HP prices the printer at 12 ppm for black and white and eight ppm for colour, which should be shut to the rates you will see when printing text files with no video or pictures.
On the new variation of our business applications collection (timed with QualityLogic’s software and hardware), I measured it at an efficient 2.9 web pages each min (ppm), just a bit much faster than CP1025nw, at 2.7 ppm.
Other Driver: HP ENVY 5055 Driver
Not remarkably, considering that the CP1525nw and CM1415fnw both use the same printer engine, they brought out similar rates on every test in the collection. However, as another point of recommendation, the tester measured the similarly valued Editors’ Choice Dell 1350cnw Color LED Printer at a significantly much faster 4.9 ppm. If you are used to inkjets, you will probably consider the CP1525nw speed appropriate, but it is slower than the Dell printer to notice the distinction in daily work.
Output Quality
The printer ratings a bit better on output quality than on speed about other lasers, especially for text, but the overall quality isn’t outstanding.
Text quality suffices for any business need and suits most lasers. Colour videos are simply a touch below average. They’re certainly great enough for any interior business need, and most of our test output readied enough to offer for marketing products such as trifold pamphlets and one web page handouts. However, among the test pictures revealed inappropriate posterization (with shades changing all of a sudden where they should change gradually), so you might need to pick your shading carefully.
Picture output was much below average for a shade laser, with most pictures looking overexposed. The quality readied enough for printing identifiable pictures from Internet web pages, but I would not consider using the printer for something such as a customer e-newsletter if I were attempting to convey a feeling of professionalism.
Provided that you could obtain almost the same capability from HP’s CP1025nw for much less money or obtain a much faster speed from the Dell 1350cnw for the same price, it is hard to suggest the CP1525nw without bookings.
Conversely, if you can find it at an adequately low cost and as lengthy as you print little enough, so you do not mind having just a 150-sheet capacity, the CP1525nw can certainly fill a port as an individual printer or common printer in a mini workplace.
