Samsung ML-1665 Driver – It is not designed for hefty workloads; an optimum monthly duty cycle of simply 5,000 web pages means it is not likely to endure regularly printing more than a couple of hundred web pages a month. It has a 150-sheet input tray 100 sheet output tray and is related to your PC via USB.

The ML-1665’s small dimension makes it ideal for an office if you require a reduced-yield printer. The printer has two switches: one for power and one to immediately print your screen’s components. However, this is useful if you maintain the printer within arms gets to your monitor. The printer appears inconspicuous and runs silently if you wish to do so.

Print quality is excellent, as the tester has come to anticipate from Samsung’s mono lasers. Mono’s text is clean, sharp, and perfect. Greyscale shading was terrific in our example business documents’ illustrations.

The just defects in the quality of our prints were minimal: there was a bit of graininess and noticeable half-toning in pictures, and we noticed a pair of tiny rugged flaws in the delicate, smooth contours in a couple of our line charts.

Print rates aren’t incredibly fast, but 14.7ppm for mono text is fast enough for individual use. Our illustrated business documents were published at 13.7ppm, while photo prints arose at 13.3ppm. The printer defaults to its improved 600×1,200dpi print resolution – decreasing it to its native 600x600dpi does not provide a considerable speed boost, so there is no need to do this.

Samsung ML-1665 Driver – The ML-1665 comes with a 700 web page beginner cartridge. The printer toner and OPC drum are incorporated right into the cartridge, so there is just one consumable to change. At £42, the 1,500 web page MLT-D1042S substitute printer toner cartridges appear inexpensive but are instead bad worth – a web page costs 2.8p to print, which is more expensive than the smallest mono printers.

Despite this, if you are not a hefty user, the ML-1665 has a reduced Total Cost of Possession (TCO), thanks to its low purchase price. At simply £68, there are a couple of less expensive printers, which help to produce a TCO of £152 over three years’ light use (100 web pages monthly).

Sadly, the ML-1665 does not remain of such great worth if your printing requirements are more significant. A tool print load of 750 web pages a month over three years will give you a massive £842 TCO.

Samsung ML-1665 Driver – If you intend to print very gently, the ML-1665 is an excellent choice, as it costs hardly any to buy. It is not as inexpensive to run as our favorite individual mono laser, the Epson Aculaser M1200, but it does not have any extra consumables to worry about. It is not a Budget Buy champion, but this affordable and attractive mono laser will not disappoint if your printing requirements are light.
