HP LaserJet Pro MFP M476nw Review
HP LaserJet Pro MFP M476nw Driver – Not just can it print immediately on both sides of a sheet of paper (duplex printing), but it can scan both sides of a sheet in a solitary pass – quicker and much less likely to jam compared to mechanically turning the paper over.
Control is via a color touchscreen that leaves the front panel free of mess, but we’re uncertain this is HP’s most OK initiative – it appears slow to react sometimes and does not approve swipe motions.
This is quite a wise MFP, and it feels incredibly well-built-in location. The 50-page automated document feeder (ADF) rests on solid joints, allowing the cover to shut down on thick originals such as a publication. The 250-sheet paper cassette moves in and out more efficiently than clattering about.

HP LaserJet Pro MFP M476nw Driver – Sadly, the tray itself is unimpressive, feeling slim and versatile, and with the paper, orientation marked right into the all-time low plate in a manner that it is covered the minute you load it with paper; not great if you want to buy hand print on the other hand of a couple of web pages, for instance.
If printing 50 sheets or less, you could use the multi-purpose feed that folds below the front panel. With just an optional 250-sheet paper feed available, there is a limited range to expand this MFP.
The M476dn is simple to set up and install, apart from a strange question where you must decide if it will be self-managed, IT-managed, or whether it will print a setup sheet.
The tester thought it self-managed and appeared to jump on fine after that; alt, hough such as many printers; the default setups consist of sending out helpful information back to the manufacturer: we’ve no idea why this is so extensive or why it is constantly selected by default.
While we’re grumbling about HP’s software, it is regrettable that this MFP uses the same over-simplified scan user interface that testers often criticize.
This has no automated choice or direct exposure setups, has a sophisticated setups web page that does not consist of any incredibly advanced designs, and offers a restricted range of preset resolutions which does not consist of 150 dots each inch (dpi) – a familiar setting which we use for among our timed tests.
On devices with an ADF, such as this, it is not feasible to select resolutions over 300dpi unless you define the platen glass as the document resource, so, strangely, the software’s picture setting does not do this for you.
The user interface keeps in mind neither sneak peek pictures nor user-defined setups in between sessions unless you conserve the last by hand.
Thankfully, points are considerably better somewhere else. HP’s simple print drivers work well here, using faster ways to cover the vast bulk of print jobs.
HP LaserJet Pro MFP M476nw Driver – As an instance, we packed an envelope in the multi-purpose feed, selected the envelope faster, changed the dimension from the default dimension 10 to DL, and obtained perfect outcomes the very first time, which is remarkably unusual.
