Samsung ML-2525 Driver – Samsung has developed an excellent reputation for its inexpensive mono printer, and the Samsung ML-2525 broadens the main stamina of its precursors. The dimension, speed and operating costs should make it a great choice as an individual desktop computer laser, but how does it measure up to the specification sheet and feature list?

Samsung ML-2525 Review
Samsung ML-2525 Driver – Samsung has skillfully made the ML-2525 appearance much smaller than its. The small, squat, black box does this by sticking out a large black lump at the back. The clever bit is that you need to go looking for the node, as it is adequately narrow and superficial, not to be seen from most viewing angles.
It houses the power provided and user interface wiring and covers the rear of the paper tray, which can take a healthy and balanced 250-sheets. A single-sheet, multi-purpose port is positioned simply over the tray, too.
The top surface of the machine, while high-gloss black plastic, has a structure of dots set right into it, giving it an air of elegance. A black, distinctive indent takes the web pages as they feed from the top, and although there is a flip-up paper quit, we didn’t need to use this when providing A4 paper. At the back are sockets for mains power and USB, the just information link on this machine.
The control board is simple but sufficient, with two signs for mistake problems and switches for Quit Print and power. The last control is Samsung’s unique screen print switch, which immediately takes whatever gets on the screen, or selected parts and prints them out. This is a handy feature; another manufacturer may well mimic it before it is too lengthy.

Samsung ML-2525 Driver – A single-piece drum and printer toner cartridge ports in from the front once you’ve folded up down the slightly lightweight front panel. Changing consumables is incredibly simple and the work of minutes. Driver for Windows and OS X are provided on the software CD, which consists of the energy for screen print. Various Linux distributions are also sustained through downloadable drivers.
Those insane men at Samsung rate this machine at 24ppm, but as with many manufacturers’ speed scores, they appeared to disregard the processing time before printing starts. The engine uses Samsung’s web page summary language, SPL, and it takes quite a while for a web page to be made before the data-receive light on the ML-2525 blinks.
Tester tape-taped processing times of up to 25 secs and some of these got on solitary web page jobs when these involved both text and video. Once it is begun, the machine’s print speed is commendably fast, especially for a printer setting you back under £85. Include both times with each other, however, and we saw rates of 12.5ppm for our 5-page text print, enhancing to 16ppm for the 20-page one.
Our 5-page text and video print returned 8.6ppm on both test runs, primarily because of the lengthy processing time. Finally, a 15 x 10cm picture print on A4 paper took 31 secs, again with a fair bit of the moment invested in processing the picture.
Samsung ML-2525 Driver – These rates are still very beneficial and beat similarly valued inkjet printers by a margin of up to 2:1. Mono laser print is still the high-efficiency option for black print in the home.
The print quality is also a great deal better than typical inkjets, with black text appearing almost marked on the web page. The 600 x 1200dpi improved resolution of this machine does an excellent job of creating clean text; you had more than happy to offer it to any client.
Greyscale videos are also over average, and there is hardly any sign of banding, which can ruin fills on the mono printer. There is not a range of greys from various other devices, which means that multiple hues in colour originals do not constantly obtain different tones of grey when published.
Our picture print did show some small patchiness, generally the location of skies and was quite dark by default, so shedding information in shadowed areas of the picture. However, it is not a poor initiative for an entry-level mono laser.
There are two variations of the combined drum and printer toner cartridge, one great for 1,500 web pages and the various other for 2,500. Using the greater yield consumable gives an expense for each web page of 2.8p, consisting of 0.7p for paper.
This is a tremendous cost, in contrast was other entry-level lasers, about 0.2p each web page, much less than the Aculaser M1200, for instance; however, that machine is also cheaper than the Samsung.
Decision
Samsung ML-2525 Driver – The ML-2525 is an outstanding little mono laser, very calm on the work desk, not setting you back the planet to run and creating a very high-quality print in the locations where it is most likely to be used. While the print speed does not measure up to the maker’s spec, it is still greater than adequate for typical home uses.
