HP Photosmart 6510 Driver

HP Photosmart 6510 Driver – HP’s Photosmart 6510 is a brother or sister to the Photosmart 5510. Both models share support for Shadow Printing and Apple’s AirPrint and HP’s Internet Applications. This model also has a duplexer for double-sided printing and a different picture tray, so you do not need to discharge your A4 sheets when you want to print some snaps.

HP Photosmart 6510 Review

Squat design

HP Photosmart 6510 Driver – The 6510 has a straightforward squat design but is quite broad at 436mm, so you will need to give over lots of desk space. HP has used a mix of shiny and matte black plastic on the finish, and the overall appearance is stylish if a bit unshowy.

We love the large 3.5-inch touchscreen, which can be slanted forwards and in reverse for the very best viewing angle. The touchscreen is crisp and bright and is also receptive to the touch, making the printer a doddle to set up and use.

To the left of the touchscreen, hidden behind a small plastic flap, you will find a card reader that supports Memory Stick and SD cards, but sadly HP hasn’t already included a PictBridge-compatible USB port.

Unlike the 5510, this model has a cassette-type paper feeder with a standard paper area near the bottom and a picture paper tray on top. Printouts are delivered into a flip-out tray formed partially from the top of the paper feeder. Sadly, this feels very lightweight, and we’re not optimistic that it will endure many bumps or scrapes.

Fast set up

The install wizard terminates upon its touchscreen display as quickly as you power up the printer. This overviews you through the setup process, from inserting the ink cartridges to including picture paper to the paper feeder. Consequently, the setup is speedy and pain-free.

You can decide to connect the printer to your computer system either via USB or Wi-Fi. It is best to use Wi-Fi as you will have the ability to benefit from some of this model’s key benefits. For instance, if it is functioning over Wi-Fi, it means you can print straight to it from any iOS device, consisting of iPhones and iPads, without needing to install extra software.

Other Driver: HP OfficeJet 5200 Driver

HP Photosmart 6510 Driver – You can also set it up to deal with HP’s ePrint and Google’s Shadow Printing solutions. The previous allows you to e-mail documents and pictures to the printer from any device, while the last will enable you to print from Google Web-based applications such as Google Docs and Gmail.

This model also supports HP’s Internet Applications. These permit you to access Internet content straight from the printer’s touchscreen. You can print personalities from Disney and DreamWorks movies for the kids or the newest headings from Yahoo to read en route to work.

Great scanning cup capacities

The scanner does not have an automated document feeder, so you need to hand lay each sheet on the glass if you want to copy multi-page documents. This machine isn’t high-speed for photocopying either, as it took 32 secs to copy our test sheet — that is about 10 secs slower than most of the various other models.

The copy outcomes were pretty outstanding, however, and the scanner also does a great job when it comes to scanning pictures or various other documents.

Speed, quality, and cost

Instead bizarrely, this model proved slightly slower at printing compared to its less expensive brother or sister, HP 5510. It took 1 min 22 secs to produce our 10-page black and white text document, which was 10 seconds slower than the 5510.

It was also slightly slower when it concerned our video and color business discussion tests. The previous took 2 mins 35 secs, and the last job was finished in 2 mins 30 secs. It needs to be said that these times are still very reputable and much faster compared to most various other models we’ve evaluated, bar the Brother J collection and Canon Pixma MX885.

Its picture printing was a lot slower compared to the 5510. At 55 seconds to complete a 4×6-inch snap, it was simply over 20 seconds slower than its less expensive stablemate. The 5510 does not have this model’s duplex printing features, however, and in truth, the 6510 is pretty fast when it comes to automated two-sided printing. It took simply 2 mins 16 secs to complete 5 double-sided web pages of our black and white text document.

Print quality was excellent throughout both text and video output. Black and white text had a lot of intensity and skill that it was very shut to what we’d anticipate receiving from a printer, which is certainly high praise for an inkjet model. Video output was also refreshingly free of banding. There was hardly any proof of dither on pictures, and colors were abundant and all-natural on both video and photographs.

Fortunately, this model will not cost the planet to run either. It depends on 4 separate ink cartridges and, using the high-capacity variation, a black and white web page costs 2.8p each sheet, while a color web page exercises at 5.2p. These prices consist of 0.7p for paper costs.

HP Photosmart 6510 Driver – You will genuinely obtain less expensive output from Kodak’s range of printers. Those models depend on a solitary color cartridge, so the HP may show equally as cost-effective to run depending upon what kind of products you print.
