Canon PIXMA iP2000 Driver – Although valued a lot, much less compared to $100, the Canon Pixma iP2000 is one step up from being inexpensive. The iP2000 offers top-shelf features, such as direct publishing abilities, double input trays, outstanding video publish quality, and a bit extra speed. Although it has its weak factors, this Pixma is a great budget buy.
Canon PIXMA iP2000 Review
As you might anticipate, the lower-end Canon Pixma iP2000 is slightly more small and removed than both higher-end printers in this line, the Pixma iP3000 and iP4000. But Canon retained their double input trays–there’s one on top of the printer and a rack with a plastic cover under.
Combined, they make multitasking easier since you do not need to switch out paper when you switch in between message and picture publishing. The iP2000 has a solitary switch for toggling in between both trays as with its big siblings. You can also publish straight from any Canon or PictBridge-compatible video cam.
Other Driver: Canon PIXMA iP1700 Driver
As does its less expensive brother or sister, the Canon Pixma iP1500, the iP2000 uses two ink cartridges–one for black ink and one for cyan, magenta, and yellow–instead of separate tanks for each color. This is a common feature in sub-$100 inkjets, but it is wasteful as you need to dispose of the entire color cartridge when one color goes out, and it has a tendency to earn your savings on the purchase price appear such as much less of a deal in time.
Per-page costs run 13 cents for a standard (20 percent coverage) letter-size web page and approximately 45 cents for an 8×10 picture. If you can afford to lay out the cash in advance, we suggest paying a bit extra for a multi-cartridge model.
Canon PIXMA iP2000 Driver – You will be a lot better over time, paying $12 for a cyan cartridge than paying $18.50 for a three-color variation. On the plus side, the iP2000 is remarkably fast for such an affordable printer. Our tests balanced 6.6 web pages each min for the message and 2.8 mins each web page for 8×10 pictures. Many budget models take two times as lengthy to do the same job.
Although it runs on simply two cartridges, the iP2000 produced video documents that appeared much better than what we saw from the step-up model in this line, the four-cartridge Pixma iP3000. The printer makes smooth gradients in monochrome and color–even under the shut examination of a loupe.
Our test pictures revealed the correct amount of comparison and a great degree of information, and the color coordinating is pretty strong. However, message output isn’t quite as outstanding. We saw a good variety of downy sides, but it is probably not enough to put off the average customer. Picture output isn’t awful considering the price of this printer. However, shut evaluation reveals dithering that is noticeable to the nude eye.
