Canon EOS 1300D Review

Canon EOS 1300D still maintains the design of the Canon EOS 1200D. The dimensions of the body are not too big; its weight, when attached to the 18-55mm kit lens, is also still relatively light and ideal for travelling. Overall the body feels quite sturdy and comfortable when held in hand.

On the back of the body can be found a 3-inch LCD screen. The display on the screen looks quite sharp. This screen is better than the EOS 1200D because the LCD screen resolution of the EOS 1300D is higher, with the number of pixels reaching 920,000 dots.

This LCD screen is accompanied by an optical viewfinder which is quite helpful for taking pictures. Shifted slightly to the side of the screen, several navigation buttons can be found.

All the buttons it carries are pretty significant. The placement is also quite good and easy to reach with your fingers. Another new feature that we can find is the presence of the Food mode. This model is specifically designed for food photos with colour tones in images that look more mature.

In addition to these two features, the EOS 1300D can also be found in a video mode to record video in Full HD resolution. Connectivity is also quite complete with WiFi and NFC support to make it easier for users to transfer photos to smartphones.
