HP PSC 1215 Driver – It does not do the Best Worth honor simply because of its price. It combines good enough print and scan quality, financial operating, the ability to copy without a PC, and does everything quicker than Epson’s RX420.

Using the high-capacity tri-color cartridge, 6 x 4in pictures cost 15p each – less expensive than everything but the RX420, which costs £18 more to buy.

Quality is strong, although you will notice more grain in prints compared to HP’s 2610 and 2710 six-color printers, and the limited drivers will not permit you to produce indeterminate prints. Each device on the test can print 6 x 4 pictures without white boundaries. Our A4 photomontage exposed grainy images, too, although shifts were smooth.

Each 6 x 4 picture was printed in one minute and 41 seconds, but or else 1215 was a sluggish entertainer. Our four-page DTP took 4 mins, 24 secs, and mono text documents took their time: in the Normal setting, 1215 managed no greater than 2.3ppm and 6.3ppm in Prepare setting.

HP PSC 1215 Driver – At the very least, the quality readied. HP is famous for excellent text quality on ordinary paper, and 1215 is no exemption. Our DTP document was also handled adeptly. The colored text was slightly muted, but the sides were specified. Pictures were appropriate, although the personalities of white-on-black text started to shed meaning.

Since it has a single-digit LCD on the front, 1215 isn’t as simple to use as others. Duplicated 6 x 4 pictures have white boundaries (also if the originals were indeterminate), and our 6 x 4 test greatly emphasized warm colors.

This is visible when the copy is side-by-side with the initial. Mono duplicates were better in quality than originals, albeit with slightly even worse text. Copy rates were still slow but on the same level as the print rates: 2.8ppm and 6.4ppm in Normal and Prepare settings.

Scanning exposed great comparison and abundant colors. However, 1215 is among just two test scanners with an optical resolution of 600ppi. This meant it needed to interpolate to produce our 1,200ppi 10 x 8in test, but it was hard to inform the distinction. Complexions were incredibly reasonable.

HP PSC 1215 Driver – Despite the speed and average overall quality, the 1215 offers the best worth on the test. As long as you do not need features such as card visitors, an ADF, or indeterminate prints, it is a strong choice for those on a limited budget.
