Canon imageFORMULA DR-M1060 Driver – Larger compared to most desktop computer scanners but remarkably small for one that can scan at tabloid dimension, it offers duplex (two-sided) scanning, a fast scan speed, and the ability, with some programs at the very least, to scan to searchable PDF file style as quickly as it checks to picture PDF style.

The DR-M1060 is extensively in the same category as 2 other scanners I recently evaluated: the Kodak i3200 Scanner and the Kodak i3250 Scanner, which is our Editors’ Choice tabloid-size document scanner for a small workplace or workgroup. Compared to the Kodak models, however, the DR-M1060 isn’t just cheaper and designed for significantly lighter-duty use.

Both Kodak scanners offer 250-sheet automated document feeders (ADFs) and suggested duty cycles of up 15,000 sheets each day. The DR-M1060 is available lower on the range for both ruggedness and degree of use.

With a recommended daily maximum of 7,500 sheets and an automated document feeder (ADF) that can handle 60 sheets of letter-size paper or smaller sized but simply 25 sheets of more significant dimensions. Although that is not also shut to a suit for the Kodak models, it should suffice for most mini and small workplaces. It also helps make the DR-M1060 smaller sized and lighter.
